Paolo Conti is now at the University of Washington (Seattle) where he will spend a long period of research on Deep Learning techniques in the framework of his PhD studies under the guidance of Proffs Steve Brunton and Nathan Kutz.
Matteo will be hosted by MIT Professor and MIT.nano Director Vladimir Bulovic, and will conduct research on “Acoustic Surfaces for Virtual Spaces and Enhanced Environments”
Title:Long Stroke Mems Actuator Resilient To The Pull-In And Electronic System Including The Same Filed: February 7, 2022 Inventors: A. Opreni, V. Zega, A. Frangi, G. Gattere, M. Riani
Andrea Opreni, Giorgio Gobat, Federico Maspero and Matteo Furlan have been awarded a PoliFab starting grant with the project
Micro Electro Mechanical Systems Nonlinearities Exploitation for Filtering and Sensing Applications
The grant guarantees free access to the Polifab facilities and instruments for 800 hours to be used within 2 years. The project aims at exploiting nonlinearities in MEMS for practical applications and will leverage innovative Model Order Reduction (MOR) techniques recently developed to design and optimize MEMS structures to operate in a fully nonlinear regime.
Stefania Fresca’s paper has been selected as a keynote lecture at the Mechanistic Machine Learning and Digital Twins for Computational Science, Engineering & Technology MMLDT -CSET 2021
